Alongside Medical & Professional Care

BWRT® practitioners aren’t medical professionals, and where a condition may have a medical cause, appropriate medical consultation is required alongside BWRT® work. With that in mind, many therapists and psychologists also use BWRT® to support people managing:

OCD

Obsessive-compulsive patterns and intrusive thoughts.

Binge Eating/Drinking

Compulsive or automatic eating and drinking patterns.

Dependencies

Support alongside treatment for most dependencies.

Low Mood & Depression

Support alongside treatment for most depressions.

If you’re currently struggling with thoughts of self-harm or suicide, please reach out to a crisis service in your area, or to a GP/PCP or mental health professional, for immediate support.
